The LV-MaxSonar®-EZ3™ is a good sensor for side object rejection or narrow beam width applications. The LV-MaxSonar®-EZ3™ (part number:
MB1030) high performance ultrasonic rangefinder is EZ to use while
offering customers versatility in a sensor. The sensor offers three
standard outputs (analog voltage, serial data, and pulse width) that
are available on all the MaxSonar®-EZ products. The LV-MaxSonar®-EZ products also operate with very low voltage from 2.5V to 5V with less
then 3mA nominal current draw. The LV-MaxSonar®-EZ3™ is slightly wider beam width than the EZ4™ which makes it a good choice when the EZ4™ beam sensitivity is not enough for the application.
